Lovely Gift Exchange

So I really want to participate in the lovely gift exchange, but I don't know if I can. I am still jobless right now, thus have little to no extra money. If I were working, it wouldn't be a problem. But for now it is. It would all depend on the partner I got and what they liked. I could easily pull off some nice swap packages for a few different things, but if I get someone who likes things that I am not into, that means I would have to buy everything. I would like someone I could make things for. I hate to feel like I ever skimp on gifts, so while I'd buy a thing or two, I'd be making a lot of other little things. But yeah, if I get someone not into the same things as me, I'd be in trouble.

*sigh*

So I think I may possibly pass it up for now and do it again whenever she hosts the next one. This makes me very sad, though. I have been wanting to participate in an exchange like this for quite some time, and now when I'm finally in the right spot to do just that, I can't.

I really need a freaking job. This is ridiculous. I hate having no money. :(

However, I am going to start keeping my eye open for little things to add to a collection of swap stuff, so even if I have no money next time, if I have a collection of things, I would feel more comfortable going into it. I will also use this time to start honing my techniques on crafty things I want to do.
